Expressing yourself creatively

Internet technology has provided musicians with fantastic tools to promote their music. For example, my son has just released a couple of his songs on the website reverbnation.com. He writes the songs himself and also sings them in the band, The Damned and the Dirty. They will be giving a broadcast on BBC Radio Wiltshire on 31st. March 2013.

Here are the two songs only just released. They are now spreading virally around the social networks of the Internet.

The audio players above are provided by MediaElement.js. This is an HTML5 audio player in pure HTML and CSS and has the same look on any browser, even those that do not support HTML5. It does this by upgrading the non-HTML5 browsers with custom Flash and Silverlight plugins that mimic the HTML5 MediaElement API. It therefore provides a uniform viewing experience to the widest possible Internet audience.
